Student FAQ
Before you claim.
Who can claim the free 3 months of PRO?
Any student who can receive email at a school address ending in .edu. Each student can claim one code. Addresses that only differ by a +tag or capital letters count as the same student.
Why do you ask for my school email?
To confirm you are a student, we email a one-time link to your .edu address. Opening it proves the mailbox is yours. We do not store your email address; we keep only a one-way hash to make sure each student claims once.
I did not receive the verification email.
Check your spam or junk folder, since some school mail systems are strict. The email can take a couple of minutes. You can request another link after one minute, and the newest link is the one that works.
How do I redeem my code?
After verifying, tap “Redeem in Google Play”, or open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Redeem code, and paste your code. Then open Brain Dump, go to PRO and subscribe to start your free trial. Google Play shows you exactly what you are getting before you confirm. The steps above show every screen.
Does my code expire?
Yes. Every Google Play promo code has a redeem-by date set by Google. You need to redeem your code in Google Play before that date, or it stops working. The date is shown next to your code, and once redeemed your 3 months start from that day.
What happens after the 3 months?
Your code gives you a free 90-day trial of Brain Dump PRO, applied when you subscribe in the app. When the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically, so if you don’t want to continue, cancel before then in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions. Google Play shows the terms and price before you confirm.
I lost my code. Can I get it again?
Yes, any time, even after the offer has closed. Enter the same school email on this page and we email you a link that shows the very same code, never a second one. You will need access to that mailbox, which keeps your code private.
What happens when all the codes are claimed?
Student codes are limited and each one has a redeem-by date. When they run out or expire, this page says the student offer is now closed. Check back later for another promotional offer, or follow Zealtyro on Facebook for updates. Brain Dump itself stays free to use.
Does it work on iPhone?
Brain Dump and the student offer are for Android, because codes are redeemed in Google Play.
